The online journal Spatial Justice (www.jssj.org) has published the latest research by Dr. Catherine Keske (EPI Associate Professor) and her team (Jennifer Brooke Dare, Tiffany Hancock and Myron King), The team examined the connectivity of food security, food sovereignty, and food justice in boreal ecosystems. Emphasizing that climate and the existence of food insecurity within wealthy nations should be factored into conceptualizations of food sovereignty and food justice, the article also presented a very interesting case study of the Saint-Pierre and Miquelon (France) archipelago south of the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The article is available in French and English.
