Dr. Maura Hanrahan read from her book manuscript Unchained Man: The Arctic Life and Times of Captain Robert Bartlett at the Fogo Island Public Library on May 26, 2016. The manuscript has been submitted to McGill-Queens University Press and Maura is working with editor-in-chief Jonathan Crago. Maura is on a month-long Fogo Island Residency, sponsored by Memorial University and the Shorefast Foundation. This event is also sponsored by the Writers Alliance of Newfoundland and Labrador.
