Students in the ENVP 6001 course competed in the annual MAEP policy competition today. They were put into groups and matched with coaches and projects from the provincial government on single-use plastics, climate adaptation, inland fisheries, and composting. Due to the pandemic, the competition too place remotely, with each student and judge joining individually through BlueJeans (hence the lack of a photo), but it still ran very smoothly! The winning team was the single-use plastics group, and the judges included Brian Harvey, Gerald Crane, and Kirsten Miller.
