Dr. Maura Hanrahan of the Environmental Policy Institute was in Washington D.C. this month to give a presentation on Native American and Indigenous traditions.
Dr. Hanrahan, who was also Chair of a conference entitled Alliances Real and Imagined, gave a presentation at the Native American and Indigenous studies conference on June 5th titled
” A Story of Contrasts: The Settler Romantic Tradition and the Beothuk and Mi’kmaq of Newfoundland.”
