ENVP 6001 Students Engage in Cabinet Simulation
February 8, 2019EPI Assistant Professor, Garrett Richards attended the NunatuKavut Community Council Energy Research Summit in Goose Bay January 14-15, 2019. The first day of the event focused on dissemination of existing research and progress with regards to energy sustainability in NunatuKavut communities. Researchers from Dalhousie University and the University of Waterloo presented preliminary findings from their ongoing research. Nunacor and NCC staff are invited to present on their ongoing sustainable energy efforts.
The second day of the event focused on stakeholder engagement and partnership building. Representatives from the public, private, and community-sectors are invited to speak to energy sustainability possibilities in NunatuKavut communities. Relevant stakeholders met in the afternoon to plan next steps for energy sustainability research.
