MAEP Student Samantha Burns (pictured on the left) attended the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AFCC) Policy Brief Competition in Ottawa February 13-15, 2019. For the competition participants were required to write a 3 page policy briefing note including background and advice to the Minister of Agriculture on a policy issue. Samantha won 3rd place and a cash prize of $100.
