A message from Envirothon NL and Model Forest of Newfoundland & Labrador!

Welcome to the 2018 NL Envirothon!

On behalf of the Model Forest of Newfoundland & Labrador, the sponsoring partner of the NL Envirothon, I’m delighted to welcome team members, judges, coaches, sponsors and volunteers of this event.

Over 3 days, the four teams will be tested on their knowledge of the environment around them and communicate with professionals who work in these fields.  At a time of global environmental challenges, it has become even more important for young people to have knowledge of these topics.

The Envirothon is a fun, competitive and challenging event.  Your will feel these sentiments as you complete the four field tests, and prepare your responses to this year’s problem scenario dealing with Climate Change.

The NL Envirothon 2018 champions will qualify to compete at the North American Envirothon  to be held in Pocatello, Idaho, USA.
