Rielle grew up in Toronto, ON. She completed a Bachelor’s of Environmental Sciences from the University of Guelph in 2019. Since graduating, she has held positions related to species-at-risk monitoring and science education. Hoping to gain more interdisciplinary knowledge regarding environmental problem-solving, she is pursuing the 1-year stream in the MAEP program. Rielle is conducting her research paper under the supervision of Dr. Stephen Decker, in partnership with the Nunatsiavut Government in Labrador. She will be investigating strategies for incorporating Inuit traditional knowledge into contemporary wildlife management in Nunatsiavut.
Outside of her studies, Rielle is enjoying hiking and skiing the nearby trails, and singing in the community choir.
